This is an introduction to the art of ballet concentrating on the artistic interpretation of the movements. Attention is given to the breadth, flow and joy of moving to music. No prior training is required, just a love of movement and a willingness to slowly develop ballet techniques. No special physical attributes required! (I have had hip replacements so my legs aren't very good!)
The class will be held on Fridays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Hough Village Hall.
The teacher is Royal Ballet trained Mary Griffiths, ARAD, founder and former principal dancer of Hong Kong Ballet.
