We look forward to introducing you to the game of bridge. It is fun, challenging, mentally stimulating and very addictive! We start right at the beginning, so no previous experience of playing is required or expected! We progress very quickly, however, with each session building upon the previous week's learning. The course takes three full terms to complete. By the time you've covered all the elements of the course, you should be ready to join one of the six U3A bridge groups or other local clubs. Previous course participants are now playing regularly, some as often as five or six times a week! An added benefit of learning to play bridge is the extra dimension it will bring to your social life. A £5 charge will be payable per term to cover refreshments and materials such as photocopies. This is in addition to the Group Levy which is payable termly to the U3A and is currently £1.50 per session. The course will be held in Worleston Village Hall on Thursday mornings, starting at 9:15 and finishing at 12:00.
The current course runs from September 2025 to June 2026.
It will be repeated from September 2026 to June 2027.
