The group will do a trip once a month to visit a suggested area via public transport. One or two members would have done a reconnoitre prior to the day and suggested a list of pubs that had a broad selection of cask beers or interesting pubs. They would also look at lunch menus if some of the members wanted to eat, but the food was not purpose of the visit. As we use public transport each member could decide when they wanted to leave as the purpose was to go for quality not quantity. We have visited some interesting towns over the last few months. We have had days out to Chester, Stockport, Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Stalybridge as well as attending local beer festivals. Future trips will include Stone, Liverpool, Manchester and Macclesfield.
