Do you enjoy meeting members from other u3a groups? Are you happy to speak to anyone and curious about other people? Can you twirl a teapot and banter while handing out biscuits? This is the group for you! Really Useful Group members are contacted when we have one-off events which need some extra support, from meeting and greeting, taking names, kitchen duties etc. All members will receive the request emails, however there is no expectation that you will be able to help at every event. This is a small but vital role which contributes to the success of our events for members and is a great support for the committee - we hope you'll join our happy team.
