AAP - Art Appreciation


Group Description :
Each term we devise and follow a themed programme encountering and exploring paintings and occasionally sculpture, mainly from the Western tradition, making use of audio-visual aids, presentations and discussion. We aim to develop our understanding and appreciation of the styles, skills and techniques of artists from different cultures, historical periods and movements. Our goal is to be able, when we see great art, to know better how and why it affects us.
